Hakuba Snow Forecast

This is it ... the next six days of sun, snow, hot or cold, or a complete mixture of all four probably! Of course, being the mountains conditions can change rapidly and can even be different from one side of the valley to the other. Make sure you head out prepared for all conditions - don't forget your sunscreen, hat, gloves, thermal pants, and sun-glasses/goggles; inevitably you will use them all.

The data is taken at mid station on Hakuba 47, which you could argue is the center of the resort.

Pinpoint Weather

Hakuba Summer Pinpoint Weather are renowned as the leading weather forecasters in Japan. Their detailed weather reports are very accurate even in the mountain regions.

Weather is an incredibly complex topic, you could spend a lifetime studying all the different types of climate and weather conditions in the world. Fortunately however, weather is here all the time! Whether it is seducing you with its warmth and sunshine or potentially placing you in danger with low cloud and storms, it is an ever present dimension of the outdoor scene and one that without which, the mountains would be a great deal less interesting. Hakubaconnect.com Satellite Weather Images

Hakuba Satellilte Image For a really complete view of the weather our satellite weather page brings you images from the MTSAT system of meteorological satellites; showing weather patterns across Japan. Rather than trusting the forecasters you can watch the weather patterns and draw your own conclusions.

The pictures are all colour-enhanced to help clearly show the outlines of the the landmasses, and the satellites use infrared imaging to accurately map cloud patterns - even at night when, of course, clouds wouldn't normally be visible. All satellite images shown remain the copyright of MATSAT and Koichi University. Read More
