At the entrance to the Hakuba valley is the compact ski resort Yanaba. Very popular with boarders and freestyle skiers. Yanaba's attraction is that it is the 1000yen resort. That means 1000yen for lift passes, 1000yen for night skiing. This is the cheapest resort in the Hakuba valley if not all Japan!
