Kashimayari is a surprising medium to large resort situated at the southern entrance to the Hakuba valley. Kashimayari has a wide network of beginners and intermediates courses. and a couple of challenging advanced courses. The mid station is actually the base area for those arrving by car/bus from the south. From Hakuba the base area is at the lake. Shuttle buses do not run from Hakuba so it is reccommended to take the bus to Sanosaka and use the interconnected Sun Alpina pass.
