Aokiko is the most pictureque resorts in the Hakuba Valley. Rising 500m from the pristine Lake Aokiko the views down are absoultuely stunning. Aokiko ski area is sandwiched between the larger Kashimayari and Sanosaka ski areas all the Sun Alpina group and interconnected. Shuttle buses do not run from Hakuba. Therefore it is reccommended to take a shuttle bus to Sanosaka and use the interconnected Sun Alpina pass.
