Access & Transportation
If you're not taking a package holiday, where travel to the resort is already catered for, then you might want to consider how you're going to get from the main cities and airport to Hakuba. Hakuba is not too far away from the main cities and airports and can be reached easily by car, train or bus. Our guide will give you in depth information with bus and train schedules. The Hakuba Valley is quite spread out with the ski resorts lining the sides. For those without their own transport, public transport system is quick and easy to use. During the winter in the evening there are night time shuttle buses delivering you from the accommodation districts to the major apres ski areas. Baggage Deliver Service
Who wants to carry luggage on the trains in Tokyo? Many guests coming to the ski resorts either international or domestic make use of the very efficient courier service to send skis, boards, boots and other bulky equipment. Please see our courier service guide.
